A Leap of Faith - The Art of Believing
The study of life has been based on the common features of nature and we have based our understanding of the world on events even though we can change the discomfort of these features. The common mistakes are encountered by our faith even though the faith is not based on religion but our feelings and aura that we feel in daily events. The scripts are not written the same and the scripts are dictated by the way we nurture our minds. The brains are connected to our heads but do we understand the functions of the brains? The simple answer is yes because we think logically and not rationally, and this is a sign of hope. Hope is not just based on wishes and unicorns flying in the skies but hope is how we think and how rational our thinking has become to defeat the purpose of the objectives. Hope is an objective because it is not a simple goal that can be met if one aims to work towards their attainment of learning. This makes hope a sign of faith where hope becomes altruistic to the purpose of achieving the attainment of learning. However, hope cannot be forgotten because it creates a self-isolation notion which can destroy the faiths of humanity and change the course of action.
Perhaps, faith and hope are aligned with each other and this idea can lead to the prognosis of fear which then creates unfaithful human beings that result in the careless and selfish acts of disobedience in society and closed-knitted communities.
Although the views of the moon landing create general debates surrounding the validation of whether this event actually happened or it didn't happen; the main point is the quote that was stated by Neil Armstrong. The quote shows a sign of hope and a faith which shows that humans have more power if it is used in the right way. The ‘leap for mankind’ quote can be interpreted in various ways to show how we can take a leap to overcome all these events that have destroyed the planet. A leap can happen when our mindsets change and this allows us to use our minds in a logical way by categorsing our thoughts and putting the missing pieces in the right place so that we can complete the puzzles.
Our mindsets can help us take a leap because the mind is a powerful tool that we do not use often to make decisions that can change our lifestyles and our outlook of lives. A leap happens when we are at peace with each other and we see each other in the same light, and we embrace each other. The togetherness of communities change the landscape of the economic and political ideologies which are imposed in societies. Without these changes from the economic and political standpoints, we will still endure cruelty of establishments that are not in touch with class systems, unified to defeat these objectives, and take a big leap forward. The integration of ethnicities creates a dynamic effect which cannot be rejected or eliminated when it comes to taking a leap because the power of ethnicities create a cause-effect relationship that brings people to a domain which encourages us to take a leap.
Faith is not always based on religion but the purity of believing a course of change can be real. In the last decade, we have endured and made to embrace many changes that have either been imposed on us or forced us to accept these changes due to social and emotional pressures. These pressures have increased platforms that have resulted in unethical issues and these issues have prevented a leap from happening. The changes are globalisation and consumerism. Globalisation has formed an ideology of interconnectedness; whereas consumerism has created greed and poverty which has stopped a leap from happening.
Let’s dissect why globalisation has prevented a leap but a faith cannot be diminished because globalisation can achieve two outcomes - unacceptable and acceptable outcomes even though we oscillate to the unacceptable side more often. The notion of globalisation was widely embraced in late 1970s when finance was deregulated and advanced technologies were pushed to revamp global consumerism to a new height. New and modern forms of communication were created to form a discrepancy between the rich and poor. Globalisation has changed the landscape of perception where everything has to be similar to suit both international and local needs whereas the national factors are rejected. There is no point in dissecting globalisation because we all know what it has done to the general health of the populace.
The assumption of globalisation may generate positive views if one may argue that capitalism has changed the reality of globalisation. The consumerism narrative is very distinctive and the consumerism tenderness has encapsulated a feeling of greed which has extended mental illnesses through depression and anxiety. The need to want more has become a problem in society where we want to be like our friends and associates even though our financial capabilities are not at the same standards. This is what globalisation has created and it continues to bring this inferior hatred to the communities that we live in.
The fascination with faith can lead to contradictory thoughts which anyone can make assumptions that faith is a belief and not a reality of feelings. Faith can still be a belief if the individual feels that there is a hope in the future. We should not conceal the notion that faith is out of reach; however, we should understand the concept of faith and understand that it is easier to believe in it. We are all taking a leap of faith to see the course of action that is being implemented to force changes. The leap is not being an athlete who can jump higher than an average person but the leap is the mindset that the individual has. The changes of individuals’ mindset show that they have taken a leap in bounds and it means that they can change their narrative from different angles to make them believers. We should hold on to this narrative that things in our lives cannot change and we can be part of this idea because we have faith.
